Nizwa Academy partners with Al-Ruwad Academy to launch an exclusive e-learning platform in  Oman.

 

 

 

In a strategic move to enhance professional training and development in the Sultanate, Nizwa Training and Development Academy, affiliated with the University of Nizwa, has signed an exclusive agreement with Al-Ruwad Training and Consulting Academy from the Kingdom of Jordan. This agreement marks a significant step in digital learning, establishing Nizwa Academy as the exclusive representative of the Al-Ruwad Training Academy platform in Oman.

 

 

The agreement was signed by Eng. Salem bin Ali Al-Hinai, Supervisor of Nizwa Training and Development Academy, and Mr. Mohammad Mustafa Al-Affouri, General Manager of Al-Ruwad Academy. Under the terms of this collaboration, Nizwa Academy will market and promote the platform’s training programmes across institutions in the Sultanate.

 

 

A Leading E-Learning Platform

Al-Ruwad Training Academy is one of the largest e-learning platforms in the Arab world, boasting over three decades of experience in the training sector. The platform hosts more than 1,300 training courses and specialised diplomas, catering to a variety of professional fields. It is affiliated with 23 international certification bodies, ensuring that learners receive globally recognised qualifications.

 

 

The platform offers both live and recorded training sessions across multiple disciplines, including business administration, accounting, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, design, law, languages, digital journalism, airport management, and occupational health and safety. It aims to serve students, employees, and individuals seeking high-quality online education with both globally and locally accredited certifications.

 

 

Commitment to Human Capital Development

Speaking about the initiative, Eng. Salem Al-Hinai stated, "The launch of this e-learning platform aligns with the University of Nizwa's commitment to fostering development through advanced training tools and technologies. Our goal is to provide integrated and diverse training programmes that cater to the economic, social, engineering, health, and humanities sectors, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of human capital in Oman."

 

 

He further emphasised that the platform will undergo continuous updates to ensure its content remains relevant to the evolving demands of the job market. "Through our strategic partnership with Al-Ruwad Academy, which possesses extensive expertise in knowledge automation and digital training solutions, we aim to offer a dynamic and interactive learning experience."

Official Launch and Access

 

The platform is set to be officially launched on Sunday, February 16, under the patronage of the University of Nizwa’s President and in the presence of Al-Ruwad Academy’s CEO. Interested individuals can access the platform through the University of Nizwa’s website at trainingplatform.unizwa.edu.om.

 

This collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for learners and professionals in Oman, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, while promoting a culture of continuous professional development in the Sultanate.
