Health Minister Commemorates Graduation of 1,161 University Students
The University of Nizwa celebrated the graduation of 1,161 students in the Masters and Higher Diploma programs in the Teacher Education program. The ceremony was patronised by His Excellency Dr. Hilal Ali Al-Sabti, Minister of Health, and attended by members of the State and Shura Councils, local officials, university staff, and families.
University chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Khalfan Al-Rawahi, welcomed attendees and praised the University’s role in advancing Oman’s Vision 2040. He highlighted the importance of continuous learning in an era of rapid technological change. “Lifelong learning and adaptability are essential in today’s world,” he said.
Graduate Badr Khamis Al-Dhafri expressed gratitude on behalf of his peers, recognising the support and guidance of the university’s faculty. The ceremony included the presentation of degrees, a film showcasing the university’s achievements, and a poem by student Bayan Said Al-Abri.
The event marked another milestone for the University of Nizwa in its mission to foster academic excellence and contribute to Oman’s development.
