University of Nizwa Strengthens Ties with Mauritanian Academic Institutions
To bolster academic partnerships, the Chancellor of the University of Nizwa recently met with His Excellency Mohamed Fall Abah, Ambassador of Mauritania to Oman, and Dr. Ahmed Said Abah, President of Al-Shanqeeti Modern University. The high-level meeting, held at the University’s main campus, aimed to explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration between the University of Nizwa and prominent Mauritanian universities.
The discussions centered on collaborative research, student exchange programs, and joint academic initiatives to enrich educational experiences in both countries. Both parties expressed optimism about the potential for future engagements and the mutual benefits of strengthening ties in higher education.
During the visit, the Mauritanian delegation toured the University of Nizwa’s laboratories, gaining insight into the institution’s advanced research facilities and technological infrastructure.
