University of Nizwa Welcomes Delegation from University of Technology and Applied Sciences to Discuss Student Success System
the University of Nizwa was delighted to host a delegation from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences. The focus of the visit was the Student Success System (SSS), an integral part of both institutions' commitment to student welfare and academic achievement. The meeting took place at the Writing Center (TWC) on the University's main campus and was attended by Dr Ahmed Al Rahbi, the director of the SSS, and representatives from the three centres.
During the visit, the University of Nizwa presented a comprehensive overview of the SSS services and centres, including detailed progress reports from the previous academic year. The delegation was particularly interested in the service registration portal, which allows students to easily access the support they need. They also explored the system's features and functionality, showing a keen interest in its capabilities.
Furthermore, centre representatives shared tracking reports showcasing the progress of students before and after receiving services, as well as the impact of the services on students under academic probation. The delegation found the experience valuable and inspiring, highlighting the dedication and effectiveness of the University's approach to student success.
