University of Nizwa celebrates new Student Advisory Council batch under the patronage of Chancellor
The University of Nizwa celebrated the 14th and 15th batch of the Students Advisory Council (SAC), under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Al Rawahi, the University Chancellor. The ceremony included rewarding the 14th batch for their efforts and passing the validity to the next batch, which will be the official representative of the Student Advisory Council for the new academic year.
During the ceremony, the vice president of the 14th batch gave a speech addressing the SAC's efforts, difficulties faced, and achievements. The speech included advice and encouragement for the next batch. Abdul Rahman Al-Hinai, the new president of the SAC, also delivered a speech on the new batch's plans to continue the previous efforts and achievements, expressing his pride in being a student in this scientific edifice.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Nizwa is a pioneering academic institution in the parliamentary movement. The first student council in Oman was established in 2008 at the University. Since its early years, the University believed that students are part of the educational process. Students were partners in developing and enhancing university services and academic programs.
The ceremony ended by giving the new SAC members their badges, announcing the beginning of their one-year academic journey.
