University of Nizwa Secures Second Place Locally and 61st in the Arabic Region in QS Ranking 2024
The University of Nizwa has made impressive progress in the QS ranking of 2024. Out of 223 academic institutions, it was ranked 61st in the Arabic region and secured second place locally. At a ceremony attended by notable Arab and international universities, the University Chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Al Rawahi, received the Ranking Award in Bahrain. The ceremony was organised by Quacquarelli Symonds.
Dr Waleed Al Rajhi, the Deanship of Planning and Quality Management, stated “Since 2016, the University of Nizwa has been competing to be one of the best universities in Oman and the Arab region. It has consistently maintained its position as the top private University in Oman and also moved up several spots in the Arab university classification index. This result is a result of the university's hard work and dedication over the years, as it has developed plans to improve its regional and international ranking.” “The University aims to be ranked among the top 300 in the world, with a clear vision and strategy,” he added.
