The commencement of the orientation week has been scheduled for the 17th of September.
The University has successfully processed a new batch of student enrollment for 105 academic programs. With the implementation of a new method of linking the University system to the educational portal system, the admission process has become smoother and more efficient. As a result, the Deanship of Registration and Records has been able to facilitate admissions in a shorter period with greater ease and speed.
The orientation week will begin on September 17-21 for foundation students, with placement tests in Math, English, and IT. However, double degree and educational program students will have the orientation program on September 4th.
Newly enrolled students should attend the orientation program to gain insights into the university lifestyle, study system, electronic services, and support system, according to Dr. Badria Al Ruqaishi, the General Registrar. She also emphasized the importance of working hard and utilizing university services to excel in studies and develop essential skills.
The orientation program will include sessions in which students will meet college representatives to learn about colleges' departments and majors. There will also be a session to meet with the University chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Al Rawahi.
