Maeen Private Endowment Foundation Establishment with a Capital of One Million

The Maeen Private Endowment Foundation at the University of Nizwa has been established with a capital of one million Omani rials, as announced by the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs. The Institution is dedicated to imparting a diverse range of knowledge and skills to its students. The Foundation will be under the Ministry’s supervision in managing, maintaining, investing and preserving the endowment.
The Ministry’s decree stated that the Dakhiliyah governorate is the main centre and the legal headquarters of the Foundation and the designated board may open other branches in different areas. Also, the members of the foundation board should be not 5-7 members. They shall be active members for three years from the day of the appointment.
The Maeen Private Endowment Foundation has a clear and ambitious mission, achieved by supporting underprivileged University students, enhancing their skills and abilities, providing advanced medical care for patients with severe ailments, sponsoring research chairs, and encouraging community engagement.
