The School Students Summer Programme Comes to an End 

The University of Nizwa celebrated the end of its summer programme for school students. Prof. Ahmed Al Rawahi, the University Chancellor, patron the ceremony. The Lifelong Learning Center organized the four weeks summer program with an integrated effort between the University units. 

The ceremony begins with a welcoming speech by Eng. Salim Al Hanai, General Supervisor of Lifelong Learning Institute, declared in his remarks the end of the summer programme and thanked who he described as the soldiers behind the scenes, the University employees from different University units, for their dedication and hard work in making the end of this program a success.  

The program was designed to cover different schools' subjects such as math and English language. The programme seeks to achieve the objectives through expeditions to various places in Al Dakhiliyah Governate.

The programme embodied the fact that the University could play a focal part in spreading education beyond the universities territory. As it sustains the University's reach to the community; to be a beacon of knowledge and enlightenment. 

Four weeks of knowledge and entertainment gave school students a glimpse of the University lifestyle that will be waiting for them and the importance of education to achieve and empower oneself.
