The Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation (OAAAQA) and Quality Assurance Education Grants the University of Nizwa Full and Unconditional Institutional Academic Accreditation.

The University of Nizwa announced with pride that it had received full and unconditional institutional Academic accreditation from Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance awarded the University of Nizwa full, unconditional institutional Academic accreditation(OAAAQA). The university was granted this accreditation as a result of its accomplishment in meeting the nine criteria used in the Sultanate of Oman's standard evaluation process for higher education institutions, which is regarded as the highest rating of accreditation.
The university qualified for full accreditation as a result of its success in the past years in modernizing and improving the quality of its academic programs, as well as its scientific research and innovation.
The full accreditation confirms the university's efforts and aspirations in advancing higher education paths through the implementation of a set of programs and plans that have contributed to providing a fertile educational environment characterized by diversity and flexibility.
University Chancellor Prof. Ahmed Al Rawahi stated, "Since the university's inception, we have concentrated on investing all resources and human capital to facilitate the performance of its mission and national role as a beacon of science and knowledge, through a wide range of disciplines and academic programs that are more than 100 programs, we invested heavily in establishing colleges and research centers."
Prof. Al Rawahi stated that "placing the University of Nizwa in the list of these global indicators is what we aspire to, though it needs stages of planning, time, and effort, they are essential goals in the university's vision in the coming period." The university is working on a systematic work plan to improve its ranking in the global indicators.
The university chancellor congratulates the university's staff, students, and board of trustees for successfully obtaining academic accreditation. He recognized the importance of the Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance (OAAAQA) and the work it has done and is still doing to improve the quality and effectiveness of institutions of higher learning.
