Student Advisory Council Elected for 2025/2026

The University of Nizwa officially revealed the elected members and administrative structure of the Student Advisory Council for its seventeenth term. Conducted in a transparent and inclusive session on Monday, 20 October 2025, the announcement introduced the President, Vice President, and committee chairs, marking the start of a new chapter in student leadership and governance.

The session began with a detailed explanation of the nomination and voting p

rocedures, presented by the Assistant Dean for Student Development Programs, who also serves as the Council Secretary. Voting was conducted electronically through the council’s dedicated election platform, allowing all elected council members to participate and ensuring a fair and streamlined process.

The election results unveiled the new leadership of the Student Advisory Council, with Ahmed Al-Kiyumi elected as President and Mohammed Al-Khozimi as Vice President. The chairs of the committees were also announced, with Eman Al-Abri leading the Academic Affairs Committee, Alaa Al-Zeidi heading the Student Services Committee, and Mariya Al-Farsi taking charge of the Activities and Initiatives Committee.

With the announcement of the seventeenth-term Student Advisory Council, the University of Nizwa continues its tradition of nurturing student leadership and participation.
